Spawn Point is a print-focused gaming culture magazine exploring the history, evolution, and wider influence of video games. As the project’s art director, I helped shape its bold, retro-futuristic visual identity and maintain a cohesive design across features covering iconic consoles, Canadian-developed games, gaming trends, memorable soundtracks, video game adaptations, conventions, and staff recommendations. The final publication combines nostalgic gaming references with contemporary editorial design to celebrate how games have evolved from early pixel-based systems into immersive and culturally influential experiences.
